In 2016, the Academy of Arts of the University of Novi Sad launched a master's degree in academic studies at the Department of Dramatic Arts, and the basis of this program is Applied Theater, which should enable students to use drama, theater, forum theater and other interactive theater methods.

The program is intended for teachers who teach at all levels of education, as well as drama artists who want to work with all types of creative drama groups.

The study program leaves the possibility to choose the subject, in accordance with the needs and intentions of the students. The professor of the main subject is assistant professor Hristina Muratidu, actress and master of applied theater.

The work is largely practical, so that all techniques and methods can be tested by the participants themselves, in order to pass them on to others as easily as possible in the future. The schedule of classes is adjusted to the needs of students, especially if they are employed: they work on weekends, in the evening or during school holidays.

Master studies in applied theater are modernly designed and guarantee participants the inclusion in the most modern trends in working with children and youth.

Master studies last two semesters and carry 60 ECTS. They can be enrolled by persons who have collected at least 240 ECTS in their previous academic education.
